Momonga Linux 6 Plus リリースのおしらせ

Momonga Project は、本日 Linux ディストリビューション Momonga Linux 6 Plus のリリースを発表しました。

Momonga Linux 6 Plusは、2009年7月27日にリリースした Momonga Linux 6 (Touka) に約4ヶ月間にリリースしたアップデートパッケージを加えたリリースです。

o Momonga Linux 6 Plus の変更点・特徴

Momonga Linux 6 Plus の Momonga Linux 6 からの変更点を以下に記します。

o KDE

KDE を 4.3.2 にアップデート。周辺パッケージも大幅に更新しています。

o security fix と bug fix

Momonga Linux 6 のアップデートパッケージ(2009年11月16日更新分まで)を全て取り入れ。このことで、Momonga Linux 6 のインストール後にアップデートを適用する手順を省略できます。アップデートパッケージには security fix および、bug fix が含まれています。

  • iwl1000-firmware: Intel 無線 LAN 用ファームウェア
  • iwl6000-firmware: Intel 無線 LAN 用ファームウェア
  • libfprint: fprintdの下請け
  • lxde: LXDE メタパッケージ
  • x3f-tools: SIGMA SD14 X3F 型式 RAW ファイル用ユーティリティ
  • など

をよく読み、本家配布場所またはミラーサイトからイメージをダウンロードしてください。なお、Momonga Linux 5あるいは、それ以前のバージョンからの アップデートインストールは保証していません。必ず/home /etc等を保存した上で、クリーンインストールしてください。
