一応調べてはいるのですが、
要領を得ないものでなかなかうまくいきません。

gnome-printの件ですが。

うーん。残念ながらちがっているようです。
こちらでもparser.h: No such file or directory

っていわれるので、/usr/include/gnome-xml/をしらべたのですが

なのにNot foundっていわれるもんだからお手上げになった次第です。
